Having visited the country this weekend I have taken lots of exciting photos of the countryside.
I really like this photo as its rather endearing having a dog observe the deforestation process within the british countryside. It is not something I generally think of when walking in the countryside so it was different to see a forest being controlled/ having lots of trees destroyed. #deforestation #countryside #trees #england #british #different

The following images are also from the same country visit that I had done with the first image I have edited some and decided to show them on here.
I loved the fact that whilst walking amongst loads of fields there was a random bench so I found it something rather interesting. The image looked great in color but because of the color it was very distracting so I wanted to desaturate the image to highlight the tones and shadows within the image. #country #bench #fields
Here I was attempting to get a silhouette with the sun in front of me off the river and fencing. It just seems to be over exposed but I didnt want to over edit it to simple black and white as I didnt want to loose some of the fine details from the foliage.

I like the way that there is contrast and I personally really like it as a landscape photo. I find landscape photography when I do it really hard and boring. Its hard to get in everything you see around you looking amazing especially when it is over a long distance you can sometimes get lost in the image. There is something about this I just love.

I originally thought this image would look great in colour but I like the black and white as you can see texture within the fields. You lose the detail/ cant notice it as much on the spikey things behind the fence but I prefer this to the original image version.

Horses are great and although its not the most exciting image of horses in a field I like the way one is in the foreground looking at the camera with many others doing their thing in the background which breaks up the image.

I love this image due to the focus and detail the foreground is detailed, clear and visible and the background has been obscurred due to the focus. It is a rather busy image but theres something about it that I just adore. I also love the fact its earthy colors with nothing artificial in it.

Here is my dog Sid tugging on a stick. I think he is going to be in a lot of my photos on here as he is amazing and always being very fun and cute. In this image I experimented more on photoshop adjusting the filter as there was movement in the image I then added another layer as I wanted the image to be more red. I like the posterised effect as he looks more like a cartoon than a photo.

I thought that as I was in the countryside I should try and improve my landscape skills therefore I spent about ten mins trying to get different angles of the river from the bridge. I think this is the most interesting image I got due to the setting and bordering by the trees and shrubbery.

I call this photo sniffer dog as it does look like my dog is hunting something out. It is a shame its not completely in focus as there is movement/blurryness near his nose. I like it in black and white as it highlights the dogs posture and shadow areas. I think what I like about this is that the pathway down the side and trees on the left make the image slightly more interesting to look at.

Yet another one of my dog. Although its not a perfect image I do like the range of motion within in it as the dog is pretty much completely blurry. I was aiming to get a good image and background with the dog running through the hedge with a nice background however it was photobombed and the dog is super quick haha

I like the composition of the image and the fact its black and white as it shows the damaged/ deforested trees in the forest. I like this darkness of shadows and spacial gapping. It is sort of a mess and a very busy image but thats what I like

I feel like all this image is missing is little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. Being in London now I love seeing woods and countryside as I find them calming and relaxing and even though nothing much is going on here its got nice texture and shadows. I like that there are various things in the mid, fore and backgroun.

Venice trip Photographs
In January I took a weekend trip to Venice which was absolutely amazing with all the colors, gondolas and masks.
Here are some snapshots I have taken and edited on my trip. I hope you like these images as much as I do.
Animal masks in a window. Amazingly they are all made from Paper Mache which is incredible. I absolutely loved the window displays within Venice with all the masks.

Unfortunately the sun is overexposing the photo but I sort of love how much of a cliche moment this is with the artist painting the gondolas on the edge but its great!

Drinks definately, it was great how cheap Prosecco was there and wine in general. I thought this little fella on the cafe table was great haha! In this image I have duplicated the image turned one into a desaturated image and rubbed back on the image to make sure the man is in color

Being grown up someone decided to pee in the canal and I caught them in the action!
Overexposed but I like the fact I have converted it to a black and white image as I like the density of the shadows and silhouette of the gondola worker.

I thought here again that the window display looked great although the clown mask reminds me a bit of It especially in the way that I had edited it. I love the fact that it is a very busy image.

I really like this image as there is foliage and reflection within the water and its a very colorful beautiful image. The canals in Venice truly are something that is breathtaking and the architecture is old but so amazing to look at.

I like the way I have altered this image to give it an older more vintage sort of look I think the tilted angle of the image makes it look a lot more interesting. I really like the windows and aging appearance of the building.

I would not stop photographing various canals, bridges etc whilst in Venice as they are so unique and the whole place is like a labyrinth. I dont know why perhaps its the composition but there is something about this image that I really enjoy.

On the main bridge in Venice I was trying to use a slow shutterspeed to capture the moving light reflections and the boat which is why the image is blurry. The images colors looked a lot nicer on the camera than when seen on a wider screen on the computer
